You can share your Internet access by connecting your laptop with a non-wireless computer. First, you need to connect your laptop with the other computer by using a standard Ethernet cable.
I live in University dormitory and I want to share University wireless internet to other laptop / PS4 via LAN.
I have one PC that can connect to University wireless but other cannot. I try to share my internet via LAN but I got the problem.
On PC that can connect to the wireless, It say unidentified network/Limited.
On other laptop, it say unidentified network/no internet access.
I also cannot connect the internet to PS4.
I try to fix the problem by myself for a day but I cannot solved it.
May you please help me solve the problem ?
Thank you in advance.

You can then share your Internet connection. This is different for each version of Windows, as described in the following steps.
-
In Windows Vista, choose Control Panel from the Start menu, and then choose the Control Panel’s Network Center icon. In Windows XP, choose Control Panel from the Start menu, and then choose the Control Panel’s Network Connections icon; skip to Step 3.
-
In Windows Vista (only), on the left side of the window, click the link that says Manage Network Connections.
-
Right-click your laptop’s Wireless Network Connection icon, the one you’re using presently to get on the Internet.
-
Choose Properties from the pop-up menu.If you see a User Account Control warning in Windows Vista, click the Allow button.
-
In the network connection’s Properties dialog box, click the Sharing tab.
-
Put a check mark by the box that says Allow Other Network Users to Connect through This Computer’s Internet Connection.
-
Click OK, and close the Control Panel window. Patience is a virtue meme.
At this point, your buddy should be able to get on the Internet by using the direct Ethernet connection to your laptop. He can test it by opening his Web browser and navigating to a Web site.
Wi-Fi hasn’t completely taken over the world yet. Some hotels may offer wired Ethernet connections and spotty or unavailable Wi-Fi, for example. But you can turn that wired Ethernet connection into a Wi-Fi connection all your devices can use.
In some cases, getting on an organization’s Wi-Fi can also be more of an ordeal–you may need a special Wi-Fi login. But you can sometimes just plug in an Ethernet cable and get on their network, if you have physical access.
Consider Travelling With a Wi-Fi Router
If you know you’ll be somewhere with only an Ethernet connection, you can always just use a bog-standard Wi-Fi router. Buy a new one or grab an old one out of the closet. That old Wi-Fi router may not support the latest wireless standards and may be a bit slow, but that can be fine for temporary use.
Plug in your router with a power cable, and then connect its WAN or Internet port to the Ethernet jack you have available to you. Your router will then create a Wi-Fi network all your devices can connect to–you can set up your router ahead of time and its SSID (Wi-Fi network name) and passphrase will be the same when you plug it in in a different location.
Connect a Laptop to Ethernet and Share That Connection over Wi-Fi
There’s a good chance you’re not travelling with a Wi-Fi router. Never fear–you can always set up a wireless network with just your laptop. This will make your laptop function as a Wi-Fi hotspot to which all your other devices can connect. Just plug an Ethernet cable into your laptop and connect the other end to the Ethernet port in the wall. if you’re travelling with a laptop with an Ethernet port, it’s a good idea to bring an Ethernet cable just in case.
Unfortunately, some modern laptops–from Windows ultrabooks to MacBooks–have shed the Ethernet port. If you want to connect them to an Ethernet cable, you’ll need to get an Ethernet adapter that works with your laptop. Buy a “USB Ethernet adapter” or similar product, which will take an Ethernet cable and allow you to plug it into a USB port on your laptop.
Once your laptop is connected to the wired network, you just need to turn your laptop into a mobile hotspot to share that connection with whatever wireless devices you have.
How you turn your Windows laptop into a Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspot depends on which version of Windows you’re running. With Windows 10, it’s as simple as flipping a single switch that you can find at Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Hotspot. In Windows 7 or 8, you can go through the steps to create an ad-hoc network or you can use a free tool named Virtual Router to get the job done simply. On a Mac, you’ll use the “Internet Sharing” feature share that wired connection and turn your Mac into a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. So long as your Mac has a both an Ethernet and wireless adapter, it’s all pretty straightforward.

I’ve just downloaded Android Studio because I want to try to convert my website to an App. Convert yor site into app to iphone. From so many tutorials on “how to convert a website to an App” in the internet, your tutorial is the one it works for me. Thank you very much.
And if none of these solutions fit your needs and you have a smartphone with a decent data plan, you could always use tethering to share your smartphone’s data connection with your other devices. That way, you don’t need to rely on your hotel’s painfully slow and obnoxious Internet connection at all.

The WiFi system allows you to share internet connection using wireless LAN with multiple computers and the procedure of sharing Internet connection through WLAN has been already discussed. But, what about that if you have a wireless USB modem to connect internet and want to share that connection with another computer at your home desktop which do not have neither the WLAN nor a router?
If you can’t afford the additional wireless port or a router, you can use an Ethernet crossover cable to share the internet connection.
Things you will need
1. A crossover Ethernet cable.
2. Supported LAN card in both the computer.
3. The Ethernet Network driver installed.
4. A wireless USB modem to connect internet.
Computer the host computer
After getting ready with the requirements, attach the modem with host computer (the computer which you’ll use to share the Internet) and connect with internet using that device.
Go to Control Panel from the start menu and click on Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center. A windows appears. Click on the Change adapter settings from the left sidebar.
Under the Network Connections windows, select the correct icon representing your wireless modem and right-click on it and select Properties from the context menu.
The Wireless Terminal Properties box appears. Flip to the Sharing tab and configure the Internet Connection Sharing as follows:
1. Check the box “Allow other network user to connect through this computer’s Internet connection”. Once you select this option, you will get a message like this:
Simply click OK. Kids games apk mod.
2. Select the network connection type from the drop-down box. In this case you should select the “Local Area Connection”.
3. You can allow other network user to control or disable the shared Internet connection by selecting the check box.
4. Finally, click OK. A message should appear confirming that the IP address will be changed to 192.168.137.1.
Simply click on Yes which will show another message saying that the IP has been set to above value and you may lost any existing connection.
That’s all to configure the host computer for sharing internet connection from it using an Ethernet Crossover cable.
Configuring the client computer
Lan Internet Cable
In the computer where you want to use the internet connection shared from the host computer, configure the LAN adapter by the following way.
As the previous part Go to the settings for your LAN adapter and change the IP address to Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically.
This should enable the Internet connection in your client computer.
